Growth Hacking describes a new process for acquiring and engaging users combining traditional marketing and analytical skills with product development skills. The best ways to understand growth hacking is to do growth hacking and experience its marketing potential.

Here are four growth hacking techniques you can implement in your own company :

1 | Start a blog

Growth hacking runs on the engine of content, so what better way to create original content then through a blog! The better you become at creating content, promoting content and sustaining an output of content, the better you’ll be at growth hacking.

2 | Social Media 4 -1 -1

If you’re a new business that’s just starting out on social media chances are that you don’t have many fans, followers, etc. on your channels. If this is the situation, then one of the best ways to increase your social media presence is by getting influencers in your niche to notice you. How? Through Social Media 4-1-1

For every 6 pieces of content you put on social media:

(4) should be content from your influencers that are relevant to your business and audience. So 67% of the content you share is not yours and calls attention from your influencers.

(1) should be original AND educational content that you have personally created.

(1) should be sales related - Sale, Discount Code, Press Release, Upcoming Launch, etc.

While you don’t have to follow this 100 to the T, implementing this strategy will help influencers in your industry notice you and help you grow your brand online.
